The College of Nursing and Health Innovation is hiring standardized patient actors for student practical experiences and exams.
A standardized patient is an individual trained to portray the personal history, physical symptoms, emotions characteristics and everyday concerns of an actual patient.
SPs are paid $15/hr for their time. Great opportunity to gain valuable medical acting experience.

Mesquite Community Theatre – Auditions and Director Posted 8/13/2018
Mark your calendars: auditions for the Mesquite Community Theatre’s Fall show, The Curious Savage, will be held August 27-28 in the Black Box Theatre in the Mesquite Arts Center, located at 1527 N Galloway Ave. Mesquite, Texas 75149 from 7-9pm. Please arrive no later than 7pm to be considered. Be prepared to do cold readings and improv exercises. Bring a headshot and resume, but if you don’t have those, come on in – we’d still love to see you.
Character sketches are up on our website – http://mesquitecommunitytheatre.com/auditions.html – we need men and women from their 20’s to their 60’s.
Performances will be October 26th through November 11th, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 pm, and Sunday afternoons at 2:30 pm. Rehearsal schedule TBD.
We are also looking for two directors for our 2019 season to direct The Ideal Husband which will run June 14 – June 30 2019; and Fruitcakes which will run November 21-December 15, 2019.
