Seraphina Nova Glass (Assistant Professor of Instruction) holds an MFA degree in Playwriting from Smith College, and a second MFA in Directing from the University of Idaho. She is a published novelist, award-winning playwright, and screenwriter with agent representation for both playwriting (Robert A. Freedman Agency in New York) and screenwriting (Wolfrom Production in L.A.). She has recently sold screenplays to the Hallmark channel and Marvista Entertainment, and has many other scripts under option, including a TV drama series with the Heartland Network. She also wrote a short film that starred Ed Asner which won multiple awards on the festival circuit. Seraphina has had the opportunity to travel the world using theatre and film as a teaching tool, living in South Africa, Guam, and Kenya as a volunteer teacher, AIDS relief worker, and documentary filmmaker.
